Summer is the time when most rose gardeners in our Southern states want to throw the shovel/watering bucket and shout out from the rooftop - I quitttttttt!! 

 

Why do I know? Been there, almost done that.

 

But I know deep down, most of us don't want to quit. It's just so darn challenging in this heat.

 

With a few perspective shifts and the love for roses, I can assure you that a lot of things can surprise you.
